There are many misconceptions about Cinco de Mayo. No, no, no. It’s not Mexican Independence Day. In fact, it is the great victory by the Mexican Army over the French Empire on May 5, 1862, known as the Battle of Puebla. Whether we are privy to the true origin of the holiday or not, it seems as though we just want to have a good time and party! With Cinco de Mayo, there is no shortage of fun festivities.
